- How Long Is The Initial Meeting?
Approximately 1-2 hours.
- What Do I Need To Bring To The Initial Meeting?
All statements related to your assets and liabilities, your most recent tax returns and pay stubs, all insurance policies, and a list of all your monthly expenses with the dollar amounts.
- If I Hire You, Can I Do My Own Investing?
It depends on the Financial Plan. Typically we discourage people from investing on their own until we comfortable they are on track to reach their goals
- If I Hire You, Do I Have To Change Everything Over To You?
It depends on the Financial Plan. I have no problem keeping your products/investments where they are, if they are good products/investments that are helping you reach your financial goals.
- Can We Work Together Even Though I Do Not Meet Your Ideal Client Profile?
The ideal client profile is a guide to show people who we serve best. However, even though you may not meet our ideal client profile, we are more than willing to speak with you to determine if it makes sense for us to work together.
- What Services Do You Provide?
Aside from writing financial plans, the most important service we provide is helping you implement the financial plan. We will have regular meetings to help ensure the plan is being implemented, and keep track of the progress you are making towards reaching your goals. We will also meet with your other financial professionals to make sure we are all on the same page for you, as well as help you with refinancing, loan consolidation, and any other financial needs you may have.
- Why Do You Use The Financial Roadmap(R)?
The Financial Roadmap(R) is a tool we use to get a much better understanding of who you are and where you want to go with your life. This allows us to build your trust more quickly which is the foundation of any successful long term relationship.
- Why Do You Want Only 150 Clients?
We want only 150 clients because this will allow us to have a meaningful relationship with ALL of our clients. If we were to have hundreds or even thousands of clients, it would not be possible to have the type of relationship we want to have with our clients.
